About Me
My name is Ziv Unger and I'm a freelance web developer/programmer currently residing in South Africa. I specialise in developing fast, robust, scaleable and secure back and front-end systems for the websites I work on. I've been in the business for over 20 years, permanently employed by several development houses and in the last few years striking out on my own as a freelancer. I believe in fast turn-around times on deliverables, without sacrificing quality on the final product.
I have extensive experience working in Ruby on Rails , PHP and NodeJS , with some forays into Python , Erlang/Elixir and Go .
I've built client-side applications in VueJS , AngularJS , React , Meteor and many more .
PostgreSQL , MySQL , MSSQL and Oracle are all on my toolbelt, and I am very well versed in relational database design and modeling.
In the NoSQL universe, I have experience with MongoDB and more recently Neo4j
